About Us

Why We Exist

PACHOP at the Grove exists to be a dwelling place for the presence of God. We are a house of prayer - a community built on worship, intercession, the Word, and the freedom that comes when people pursue Jesus together.

We believe that when the church gathers to minister to the Lord, everything changes.

Through our services, events, and outreach, our goal is that everyone who visits us, sees and feels God’s heart. Our life becomes worship, and our messages spur fellow Christians to be walking examples to wherever God has called them.

Pacific House Of Prayer At The Grove started as a prayer gathering in a tiny farmhouse and has grown into a weekly community of believers who come to worship, pray, and encounter God in Cottage Grove, Oregon

“…these I will bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples. ” Isaiah 56:7 ESV

Two years ago, God called our Senior Pastors Frankie and Stella Kulow, to leave Central California and move to the Pacific Northwest. They stepped out in faith, trusting God to lead them into all He had prepared.

When our Apostles commissioned them as Senior Pastors of Pacific House of Prayer at the Grove, God spoke to Pastor Frankie about the heart of the house: to establish a dwelling place for His presence and glory, where people can come and encounter the living God. That calling continues to shape the way Pastors Frankie and Stella lead. Their desire is to make room for genuine worship, prayer, healing, and lives transformed by Jesus. They believe His presence comes before our agendas, and they want to give the Holy Spirit freedom to move.

Their prayer is that everyone who walks through the doors would know they are welcome, and above all that they would encounter God.

The story of our Associate Pastors Joseph and Nicole Henderson, is a beautiful example of God’s faithfulness. Through seasons of waiting, they trusted Him with their lives and their future. Their love for one another reflects their steady commitment to God and to the path He has led them on together. When God called Joseph and Nicole from Central California to join Pacific House of Prayer at the Grove, they answered. Their story reminds us that God is faithful in the waiting and faithful in the calling.

What We Value

Presence

We build everything around hosting the presence of God.

Worship

We create space for extended, Spirit-led worship as an offering to the Lord.

Prayer

We are a house of prayer first. Intercession is at the center of who we are.

Solid Teaching

We prioritize scripture and teaching a solid foundation in every one of our sermons and conferences.

Community

We are family. We eat together, pray together, and walk through life together.

The Great Commission

We exist to share the message of Jesus Christ and raise up disciples.

Freedom

We believe Jesus sets people free, and we make room for that in every gathering.

Generosity

We believe giving to the community (through clothing, food, and other aid) are integral to show God’s love for His people.

What We Believe

We hold to the historic Christian faith as revealed in Scripture. We believe in one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the authority of the Bible, salvation through Jesus Christ alone, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the reality of spiritual gifts operating in the church today.
